My First Hole in one

It was a windy June day at the Bay Club in Mattapoisett, MA with the wind blowing in our face. The tee position was back and the pin was at the back of the elevated green. The hole usually plays 140 to 150 yards and I usually use a six or seven iron. Under these conditions, it was playing 160 against the wind, so I used my 25 degree Hybrid, a club which was recommended to me by Ken Venturi, who I know through a hospital charity we are both involved in. The shot was as straight as I've ever hit a ball. It landed center of the green, bounced twice and popped in the hole. I was playing that round with some close friends and we all celebrated the achievemant. We followed this up by celebrating with about 65 other Bay Club members at the bar an hour later. Thank God I have hole-in-one insurance!
