My First Hole In One

I was traveling with my two golf buddies thru Alabama. We were coming back from Florida and decided to go play a few of the courses on The Robert Trent Jones Trail. My two friends and I have traveled to many places playing golf including Scotland and Ireland. I had always told them that when I got my first ace I wanted it to be on a trip at a difficult course. I think Ross Bridge meets that requirement.
The number 4 hole was playing 164 yards, all carry over water and a large false front with a steady breeze moving left to right. My first buddy hit a 7 iron into the false front and rolled back into the water. He was 2 clubs short. I didn't want to walk back up the hill at the tee to change clubs so I decided to hit a hard 6 iron. I hit it well and it landed 5 feet short of the hole bounced once and rolled into the cup. It was very exciting especially since I enjoyed a clear view.
Great Day, Great Course, Good Friends and a Great Shot.
