I have been playing and loving the game for 40 years and got my first hole in one on September 12, 2012. I was playing in my ladies league at Twin Lakes Golf Course in Clifton, Virginia. I hit a beautiful 7 iron onto the the green (over water!), and we all watched it roll into the hole . The news travelled backwards through the course and everyone coming into the clubhouse knew about it. THe screaming helped.

It was a great week. The day before I got an Eagle with the same ball , at Westfields Golf Course, also in Clifton, Va.
