We were out at 8.45, pretty much had the place to ourselves. We got to the 13th hole, downhill over a water hazard to a green that ran from front left to back right. The pin was front right, with a big swale that would send any ball from the left down and towards the pin.

I hit 4-iron at the front left part of the green. We saw it bounce once, but then couldn't see it because of the light. We drove down, but didn't see a ball on the green. Bill said it had to be on the green, check the hole.

The rest is history.
