My First and Hopefully Not The Last

After an awful front 9 (+7) at Eagle Hill Golf & Athletic Club, I found myself 4 strokes back from my competition/good friend. Where if you knew this guy, if he wins, you hear about it for weeks. I was behind the eight ball, so I knew I had to make a move on the back nine. As play went on, I found myself only 1 behind going into the Par 3 #16. The flag placement was middle, so I adjusted the range finder to where I thought the pin was and went for it. 133yds to the pin / 114 to the front edge, my club choice..Pitching Wedge. The result of a solid swing with solid impact was me and my buddy watching this PROV1 do exactly what I wanted it to do.. Draw.. Check.. Release.. In The Cup! My first Hole in One! My worst fear has always been to hit a shot like that and no one be around to witness it, but not today! With that Ace, I was able to shoot -4 through the last 3 holes and walk away with a 77. As for my buddy, he ended with an 83. It’s a moment in time that I’ll never forget and hopefully it’s not my last!
