On August 17th, 2010 I was golfing alone when I teed up on the 8th hole at Wild Ridge golf course in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. It was early in the morning and the sun was shining in my eyes. I was using A NXT Tour ball and 7 iron. I hit a bad line drive shot to the green. The pin was on the back shelf. I saw the ball go towards the hole then lost sight of it. I approached the green with putter and wedge in hand. I was looking behind the pin but could not see my ball anywhere. I thought, no way is it in the hole. I approached the hole and found my ball nestled in the bottom of the cup. I went back to my cart and headed to the next hole to let the 2 golfers in front of me know what happened.
