Hole in One at Jacksonville Naval Air Station Florida
By Jerry T On 10 September 2012
Been playing golf since age fourteen and almost forty-three years later at age fifty-six I finally
get one. The nice thing about the whole experience
was that I hit a club, a #4 hybrid to the correct
distance and it rolled from the center of the green
to a back pin position and dropped in the hole. From
185 yards, three of us were able to see the ball roll into the cup at a moderate speed and almost die at the hole before it did its disappearing act. It didn't bounce off a tree or hit a sprinkler head, it simply went the correct distance to complete an absolute perfect shot! I've had a few that were close and even a few eagles but this one was just right...
