Great Shot for Charity
By James R On 11 June 2013
I received a last-minute invite to play in a charity golf tournament benefiting the local Boys & Girls Club and decided it was a good opportunity to break out a new sleeve of Pro V1x balls that I won in another tournament recently. We came up to the tee-box on hole number 7 and I was the first in my group to hit. It was a 175-yard par 3, and if I was going to miss I wanted to miss short, so I used my 7-iron. The ball looked good right from the start. The trajectory was nice and straight with a high arc and it landed about 3 yards short of the hole, took one hop, and rolled right in. I didn't believe it until I looked in the cup and I think I still am in shock.
