It was the first day of our club's big two day Pot O Gold. It was a shotgun start and we started on hole number 15, an elevated par three with trees on both sides. I teed up my brand new Pro V1 and with the first swing of the day landed about 10 feet short of the pin and it rolled in the hole. I am 63 years old, started playing golf about 40 years ago and had never been in a group where there was a hole in one. I'm glad the first one I saw was my own.
