On September 13, 2012 at the Mines golf course in Grand Rapids MI I was attending a scramble for the Steelcase Office Furniture United Way fund raiser. Walked up to ladies tee on the eighth hole with my eight iron in hand and took my shot....117 yards out. It hit the side of the hill next to the green and rolled down into the cup. My teammates were going crazy, people are on the other holes around me were cheering and ran over to give me a beer. This is my first hole in one and hoping not to be my last.
