I've been playing golf 55 years and never had a hole in one before. I've sunk iron shots from the fairway several times and sunk a 3 wood for a 2 on a par 5 but never had a hole in one before today. I was 125 yards from the pin. I hit a perfect 9 iron that hit about 6 feet in front of the hole, bounced once and rolled in.
