Sunday September 2nd, 2012 in the Dallas-Ft.Worth metroplex, I hit my first hole-in-one at Riverchase Golf Club located at 700 Riverchase Dr. Coppell, TX 75019 (972)462-8181. At approximately 5:50 pm with a daytime temperature reaching 100 degrees at DFW Natl Airport, I struck a Titleist 2 Pro V1 392 golf ball at the 13th pin from 162 yards out. The ball bounced at least one then proceeded to roll toward the pin. The ball then disappeared from sight. At the time, it did not register what had just occurred. There had been at least four or five other times when my ball ended up on the backside of the green after rolling toward that ridge where the hole was located that day. As we pulled up, I slowly began to realize that my ball was not at the bottom of the backside of the green. And, then I realized it didn't have enough speed to reach the cart path nor go toward the tree. Was it in the cup? I hopped out of the cart, walked toward the hole. I saw my buddy Adam walking hurriedly toward the cup. He was thinking what I was thinking. I then ran, hopped, skipped and jumped for joy. I saw laying at the bottom of the cup is my Titleist 2 Pro V1 392 golf ball. Fantastic feeling! And my father visiting from West Texas was there to see it. We only get to play around 4 rounds per year. You know the family will be hearing about it during the holidays!
