CELEBRATING WITH FAMILY
By steven k On 12 September 2012
After making the turn with a 39, I was looking to make a move on 10 which is a short par 4. I ending up making a double and lost my honors for the next tee. Hole 11 is a 212 yard uphill par 3 which was playing 197 yards to a front pin. The green is actually an island green surrounded by deep bunkers. After my playing partners, consisting of my Dad and cousin, hit into the bunkers, it was my turn. I wasn't expecting much after my last hole, so I swung nice and easy and the rest is history. The ball hit about 6 feet away from the pin, took two small bounces forward, and then spun into the hole. It was nice to celebrate with my Dad on the special occasion. I even kept my composure and birdied the next two holes. This helped me shoot one of my better scores this year. Thanks Titleist!!
