Here is what happened. I am on a date (second date...2nd time golfing with Dave). The 13th hole is a 150 yard par 3, elevated tee box. Dave teed off about 10 yards behind the women's tee. I grab my 5 hybrid (goes about 140 yards, but wind was behind me), so I hit it easy swing...landed on the green just before the flag then we saw it roll in. I threw my club down, took off my glove then screamed and jumped up and down...then Dave grabbed me picked me up and twirled me around and kissed me. It was amazing!!!! Such a nice early birthday present for me.

As an added twist...I am currently playing golf with an injured right elbow, for which I have been receiving physical therapy 3 times a week for the past 3 weeks...so I guess it is helphing.

Also, Saturday, August 4th was the last day the course was open before the LPGA Symetra tour this weekend (for which I am a volunteer). The more you give you receive. Really happy for this first Ace...hope to have more.
