It was a perfect day for a scramble tournament at Black Gold Golf Club, Yorba Linda. We play this company event that is held twice a year and we never seem to have a good round. We were -1 headed towards #10, 174 yards, with the wind behind us. My friend ended up in the water on the right, and my other partner topped his shot and in the bushes. When it was my turn, I just wanted to land on the green to get a chance for par since we only have one birdie. 7 iron is what I pulled out of the bag since it usually carries 155 yards and we were in a elevated area. I just focused and hit. The Ball seemed like it stayed in the air for a while and then it hit close to the pin and disappeared! Did I mention it was also a closest to the pin hole? I look at my partners and one of the guys said "I think its in the hole". I said, no way, it think it fell in a false green. so we raced up there to take a look. I saw the divot next to the hole and peeked and there it was my first hole in one. My friends were more excited than me because I think I was still in shock. No brand new car, all I got was some pitty balls from the raffle and a nike shirt. And the Plaque cost me $85 from the pro shop. I had to get it because it might never happen again and my friends and co workers are still in disbelief that a newbie like me got a ace at one of the biggest company event. I seen an ace before, but I'm glad that I can show my friends an ACE that they havent seen in their long golf hobby. One of my frineds that talked me into getting that plaque, thanked me for because all the years he played golf, he never seen one happen. And I hope I can show more ACE to other people becuase it was really a day to remember for as long as we live. thank you PROV1X.
