50 degrees and blessed

The 8th hole at Northbrook Golf & Country Club is one of the tougher par three's around. With a back location on a narrow green playing 184 yards (approximately) with sand to the right and a bounding downhill to water it doesn't leave much room for error. I was playing a Titleist ProV1x 90 compression due to the cold weather in northern Wisconsin. I prefer using a ProV1 to ensure my ball holds instead of bounding off the green. I was using a 6 iron with a slight breeze behind and pured my shot. The three of us playing that day thought it was a good shot but never saw it drop as the back of the green slopes away from the tee box. Upon searching for the ball on the back of the green, Randy gave me the head nod to check the hole. As you can imagine I was extremely pleased and relieved as I was blessed to earn my 1st hole-in-one. I wish all of you the best and suggest using the ProV1to ensure close shots staying near the hole and giving you greater opportunities for your first hole-in-one.
