MEET SKIP

PGA professional Skip Guss is the owner of GolfRite, an instructional facility located in Southborough, MA. An accomplished player, Skip has competed at the game’s highest level as a member of the PGA TOUR and he has won more than 30 individual tournaments during his professional playing career, including the 2005 Rhode Island Senior Open. That same year, he was a qualifying medalist for the 2005 U.S. Senior Open at NCR Country Club in Kettering, OH.

Skip learned his craft working alongside some of the greatest players & teachers in the game’s history, including Tom Creavy, Bob Toski, Jack Grout, and the great Sam Snead. He has given more than 32,000 golf lessons and his list of clients includes beginners as well as PGA Tour, LPGA and Champions Tour winners, a US Open Champion, a U.S. Amateur Champion and Walker Cup Members. He has been recognized annually as one of Golf Digest’s “Best Teachers in State” since 2013 and in 2014 he was named “Teacher of the Year” for the PGA’s New England Section.
