Hi, im looking for some assistance, i am playing my 915 d2 with aldila nv 65 r flex shaft at 44 inches, i also have aldila rogue black at 44 inches as a back up. I like the length but feel is a little off and find it hard to get a consistent flight. The head weight is original red weight, should i change this and if so what should i change it to. Thank you in advance Andrew

  2. When you cut down a shaft it stiffens it up because it moves the kick point so

If you didn't order the sticks from Titleist the shafts may be cut incorrectly. The swing weight may also be affected which will affect the feel of your swing.

If you are playing the NV (67g) in Reg Flex (3.5* torque) it would have a low/mid trajectory. The Rogue Black is a Mid trajectory, 66g shaft with 3.0* torque. To which are you referring to the lack of consistent ball flight? Because each is going to have a different swing weight, even with the red weight in the head. I would change the weight in the NV to the Black (heavier 14g vs 9g red) to help compensate. I would tinker with them all and see the difference in spin, launch, etc. on a launch monitor. See a Titleist fitter for the best results.
