  1. Looking for a new bag and have seen the new deluxe cart bag. Any members have pros and cons of this bag? Seems like a lightweight bag, would it be top heavy? Also on the cart I have my clubs in reverse order putter, driver, hybrids, irons, wedges, anyone also do this as the carts I usually have the roof covers 1/2 the bag. Thanks for the opinions. Currently have a Ogio 14 way cart bag.

I have had the last two versions of the Titleist 14-way lightweight cart bag. I just changed to the new 2017 Mid-Staff bag. Just for something different. I loved my cart bags. Tons of storage. Set up perfectly so that putter and short irons faced out and were easily grabbed, with long clubs in the back. This is not the case with carry bags used on a cart. If you want the pockets facing out on the cart with a carry/stand bag, the long clubs impede some access to the shorter clubs. I have a Titleist carry/stand bag as well. I never use it on a cart for that simple reason, though more than half of all golfers seem to use carry/stand bags on carts. For me, I ride most of the time, but walk/carry at least a couple times a month, so having one of each type made sense. Once you use a cart bag on a cart, you'll realize how cumbersome a carry bag can be. They are however designed for walking/carrying, not cart riding. I also have a push cart I use sometimes. I like the cart bag more than the carry bag on the push cart.

The 14-way cart bag is not top heavy. It's easy to walk back and forth to the range from the car, but not made for walking 18. There is a lot of storage space. 10 or 12 sizeable pockets. As long as you are not trying to walk too far with it, you can fill all those pockets up with so many extra things that you want to have handy out there. Mine weighed in at about 45 pounds when loaded. When I traveled with it on a plane, and had it in the travel case, I usually had to purge some things to get it down under the 50-pound weight limitation.

The Titleist 14-way Deluxe Cart Bag is even bigger than what I had. If you like to have everything with you, and then some, it is a great bag. All of mine have held up well. I play and practice a lot of golf. All my Titleist cart bags got lots of abuse. Typically 250-400 rounds, plus a couple hundred days of practice. In and out of the trunk at least twice a day, tens of thousands of clubs jammed in and yanked out, baking in the sun, getting drenched in the rain, etc. And, all my bags still look pretty good. Only my last bag has some fading on the red color, but reds fade in the sun, no matter what. Otherwise it's in excellent condition. My 2011 black cart bag still looks nearly new. It sits in my basement with my old Titleists looking pretty.

You can not go wrong with a Titleist Cart Bag. FYI, before I started buying Titleist bags, I had an Ogio bag. Good bag. Titleists are even better.

I upgraded this winter to a deluxe bag. Upgraded from a sun mountain c130. The titleist deluxe bag is alot nicer and has better pockets and dividers. Best bag I've owned hands down

I too had Ogio stand bag good bag but this pasted week got my new titleist stand bag 14 way best ever I have no problem putting on golf cart either very well constructed more enough pockets I'm a totally titleist person but I believe titleist test all their products for release to insure enjoyment.
  5. As Doug stated above I also have the Mid Staff bag and I am quite happy with it. Bigger than my old stand bag of course but not to big. Plenty of room for the clubs and ample amounts of storage pockets. The only dislike I have is the shoulder strap is on the back of the bag and tends to want to slide off my shoulder while walking to the club house. Give it a go, you will not be disappointed!
  6. My bad Jeffery, I meant to say the light weight cart bag, sorry. Either way I am still very happy with it!
  7. Thanks for all the input! Just ordered one, last years model in black, hopefully get it before the weekend.
