I currently have the LZ 6.0 in my T100's but didn't know if they would be a good fit for the wedges.
Any guidance would be appreciated

RE: Shafts in SM10

Thank you Mikey....

RE: Shafts in SM10

It could be, many play the same shaft in wedges and irons. I have done it in my past bag set-up, have moved to a softer/heavy profile in wedges from irons. The reason is I feel more of where the club head is for the wedges, helping with partial shots. (Current Shafts KBS C-Taper Stiff 120 Gram - Irons 4-PW , KBS Hi-Rev 2.0 Stiff 125 Gram - Wedges 50* 54* 58*)

The best way to decide is seeing how well you can time partial shots (half and three quarter) with your current PW in the LZ 6.0 shaft. If the feel, strike and flight is where you want it then I'd say at the very least your gap wedge (48*,50*52*) can be in a LZ 6.0.

Next step would be pitch/chip shots with your PW , which will be purely based on feel. If you like the feel for pitching and chipping in the 6.0 LZ then run that shaft in SW and LW.

RE: Shafts in SM10

I would suggest going to a Titleist fitting as they will fit you into the appropriate shaft. At my fitting I was put into the same KBS shafts as my irons, which surprised me a bit. Plus I find the fitting sessions to be a cool experience.

RE: Shafts in SM10

That's what fittings are for.
