  1. Never played Vokey wedges but thinking of giving them a try. Looking for a 54* (bent to 55*) and a 60*. I play in Eastern, PA so conditions vary from hard, soft, to neutral depending on time of year, course, etc.

For the 54* I tend to use my sand wedge for full shots, straight chips or longer bunker shots (opening the face a bit in the bunker). Been considering the F, S or D grind for the 54*. Any thoughts?

The 60* is my all around green side chipping club. Anything from straight face to opening the face for flop shots. I will also use it for 60 yard pitches and green side bunkers (particularly if pin close to bunker or if less sand). Been considering D grind or M grind for this one.

Any help or experience would be appreciated. Thanks!

Have you tried the online wedge selection tool?

I think you are on the right track as far as grinds. The F will be more like a traditional iron and the S will have a bit of softening on the trailing edge. These would be great options if you play to use it for full shots in the 54. The D is what I use on the lob wedge and it offers a bit more bounce than a M. Historically I have used a M grind but found through a Titleist Thursday that the D have me slightly better results.

Check out a Titleist Thursday if you have one near you.

If you go to the Vokey website, there is a fitting guide or wedge selector which takes the answers to various questions that you input, and gives you recommended models.

What Tyler said.... Cant get really good advice since no one, especially the PGA Pros here have seen your swing. Get custom fit!

I play in Eastern MA, and come at it a little steep. I've got a 54.10 S for basically any type of shot from 100yds in. I've got a 58.08 M for around the green and green side bunkers. I play both wedges from green side bunkers but prefer the 58.08M
  6. If you're playing in such a variety of conditions, consider playing a high and low bounce option in your wedges. Maybe a F, S or D Grind in the 55 and a M or L in the 60.
