Every other manufacturer has brought out alignment aid balls out we can get them special order not a big moan but if every manufacturer sees the need for these and they are selling. These are available in the states as a stock ball what’s does everyone else think I see these as a great edition to the stock range ?

I know Titleist sell the alignment balls online but as I always buy my balls from the proshop, it would be good to try them out.
I currently add an alignment line to the ball with a sharpie so something more natural would be better
  3. Tim,
I've not seen the US versions but to date, ball markings have been too subtle for me...
I've been marking up with a large cross using a template and a sharpie for a couple of years. It helps identify my ball and allows me to follow the end-over-end roll of my putts, which gives me the feedback I'm looking for. The lines on current balls are not visible enough for me to see.

personally I'm happy just using the pro v1 / v1x logo & think bigger alignment markings might be a bit off-putting when on fairway etc and not able to move the ball.
  5. Personally I find it very off-putting, but each to their own. We used to do it 50 years ago. Most Titleist balls already have some form of ‘alignment’ printed on the ball.
