To all heading to St Ives on Monday, you may not be aware that there are major roadworks being undertaken on the A14 outside St Ives. Effectively, they have ripped up the entire stretch between St Ives and Cambridge and there are heavy delays in both directions.

Having just driven through it to attend a work meeting I thought it best to give you all a heads up. You would be best advised to allow an extra 30 mins to your travel time to get through it and arrive on time.

I look forwards to seeing you all there!

  2. Thanks for the heads up! At least being a bit late shouldn't be to much of an issue with the main event after lunch !

(still wouldn't want to miss anything)
  3. Hmm, interesting! I'm coming in on the train from London and will need to make my way from Huntingdon to St. Ives. Any tips on best way to get there?

I would imagine there are buses between Huntingdon and St Ives, but I doubt there are any all the way to the course so I would probably say taxi.

What time does your train get in?

I think you're right, Matt. Will be pulling into Huntingdon at 9.18, but the last 10 miles looks like it would be another hour on two buses, so taxi/uber it is ;o)

@Matt, you're an absolute super star! Thanks for driving me to the station last night in the pouring rain. Really appreciate the opportunity to hang out with fellow TT members, trying out some new kit, and getting a game of golf in before the season ends. May you all hit some fairways and greens... /M

    Thanks for that Matt.
  9. Use The Waze app - the most accurate navigation app I have found and far better than the built in sat nav
