    Aww thanks guys. So what handicap are use off? I haven’t joined a club yet to get one but looking to do it after the summer holidays. Any tips when joining a club?

    and "Welcome", from across the pond. Nice to see someone sporting such a great name at the home of golf. Headed your way in October for a little business/pleasure trip that will get me on Carnoustie and a few others. Enjoy the TT forum.

    I stay very local to Carnoustie, give me a shout if you want a game at my local course, Downfield GC.

    Thanks Stuart. Business in London all week and a quick Friday through Sunday weekend in St. Andrews before heading home Monday. Have Carnoustie booked for Friday and Strathtyrum for Sunday. Will try to get on the Old by ballot on Saturday and if not (most likely) we will try to get on the New, Jubilee, or Castle. I can't lock anything in until I know the results of the ballot on Thursday so might have a hard time getting anything on Saturday with only two days notice. We'll see haw it goes. Cheers.

    Enjoy, playing the Eden and the New in a couple of weeks, they are just over the water from me, played Carnoustie last Friday.
