Hey Team Titleist...thought I’d share with you guys what I’ve been up to for the last two months...

After 12 years of helping to build up a little consultancy in London, I exited last November and went back to my native South Africa for an extended holiday and spent about 2 months across Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban and George & Sun City.

Here’s the fun part...I lost count but I played somewhere between 40 to 50 rounds of golf! Some of the courses I played:

Gary Player Country Club (Home of the Million Dollar) Lost City - 13 hole has an actual crocodile pit as a hazard Randpark Firethorn and Bushwillow - Played 2 weeks after the Joburg Open was played there Glendower - The SA Open was played there last year Pinnacle Point - Check out the pics

If any of you TTers are planning a tour to SA, get in touch...I’ll be happy to offer some tips and help.

    Also...feel free to hate me!

The courses are amazing there JT and great value. For around £40-£60 you can play a Championship level course that is in better nic than Woburn/The Grove etc

And you can get a really good caddy for less than £20!!!

That was the halfway house Deno!!! At most courses in South Africa, you stop after 9 holes at a halfway house and sit down for a full breakfast before continuing on or a full meal if it’s the afternoon.

The 19th was pretty impressive too!
  8. Picture perfect golf. My dreams look like this haha.

Sadly, some of the golf was the stuff of nightmares
