I think titleist should do mixed trial ball packs, say a sleeve of three would have 1 pro v, 1 pro v1x and 1 AVX, existing members could experiment cheaply and non titleist golfers would get the chance to try the range of the greatest golf balls so would be converted. There wouldn't be much extra outlay for titleist except maybe new packaging, what do other members think

Really good idea, this has been floated before however there was little response from other TT members at the time. Anyone else ?
  3. If you took that a step further, you might also have a "Mixed Dozen" with 4 x sleeves of 3 featuring a sleeve each of ProV1, ProV1X, AVX and TourSoft. That would mean just a short production run of boxes for small addition of cost.
I could see that being a particular favourite as a prize in Society comps.

I can imagine teeing up a trial ball - wanting to "Optimise" its potential - and hooking it mightily Out of Bounds... Not much feedback when Murphy's Law comes into play.

I'd say these would do nicely. A great idea to make these boxes available to TT members at a reasonable price.

I think the mixed dozen would work better unless you were trialling them on a simulator like a Trackman into a net.
I got last years proto balls and stuck the first ball OB from the first tee...glad I got a pack of 3
