  1. Anyone had a wedge fitting at a titleist Thursday event v at a titleist fitting centre? I know a lot would depend on the facility you go to however I was wondering how the fitting set up compares?

  2. Had a fit for wedges at Titleist Thursday event, the fitter was very helpful and knowledgeable, worked on yardage for full shots but also more importantly we went green side and worked on half shots and less. Its all about grind and bounce, the fitter gave me wedges and I tested them blind not knowing what bounce was what and this was a major eye opener
Go get fitted and go with open mind
  3. ... and let us know what happens if you do get wedge fitted...
Wedges are about the only clubs I've not been specifically fitted for so I for one would be interested.

Same here I went to Kings Acres Scotland for my SM6 fitting,
    Results were unbelievable.
Graeme Noblett has me dialed in, in no time.

I went back in October for my SM7 fitting,
Not a lot had changed, with spec of wedgies for me.
I added a third wedge to reduce the gap to my pitch wedge.
My SM6 were like new but the SM7 are in a different league.
I can’t recommend them enough to all my mates!!

I was fitted for wedges during my last fitting and am so glad I did. As with AWoods, we hit full shots, half shots, went greenside. I let the fitter do his thing, just did what he told me and hit shots. One of the best fittings I've done and worth the time and effort. The fitter gave me a few tips, too. A lesson within the fitting. I'm confident with my yardages and can chip with any of the three wedges. Most often I chip with the 54*, but depending on the shot I'll go with the 50* or 58*. A years experience into having this setup I started practicing with a PW and 8 iron, too. Added a lot of versatility all due to one fitting session.

I would advise to hit off grass rather than mats.
I got fitted at a Titleist Thursday for wedges and hit off mats however I was extremely lucky to be invited to Woburn the following week and get fitted off Bob Vokey & Will Harvey.
Hitting off grass gets the real results and the specs were different to hitting off mats.
Obviously I ordered the specs I got from Bob & Will.

How long did it take for a fitting for a 'set' of wedges? I am looking to replace my aging Vokey Designs but would need 3 to fill the current gapping.
Could this be done in a 1 hour session?
