From the number of threads about TT gear, it is obvious that there is a huge demand for more items to be made available in the U.K. Whilst it is nice to keep some things limited and a bit special there would be a market for other items. Another thread also mentioned grass roots Brand Ambassadors. I would be well up for this, having played an exclusively Titleist bag for a number of years now. I’d be prepared to represent the brand at events and help in spreading the word...

  3. Great Post. It would be nice to get something back after been so loyal to the brand. I myself have a full Titleist bag after getting fitted for it here in Ireland 4yrs ago. I will always back them as I believe they are the only brand that try to look after their fans & consumers
  4. Yeah, that was my line - grass roots brand ambassadors - so I'm obviously behind you 100%!!

As a new user this year for Titleist irons after years of using a Scotty Cameron putter only, my bag is starting to look like an advert for the TItleist brand.
New Irons, putter and looking at fairway woods now, 3 days at aTT event has converted me to this brand. With club fittings and talking to the Titleist ball fitters, this has changed my approach to golf from looking for deals on clubs to paying for quality and getting personalised fittings. Brand ambassadors are the way forward to promote it at grassroots golf as a recommendation is always better than a salesman’s pitch.

I’d like to think that we are Titleist ambassadors. I’ve been well looked after by Titleist with a day out at a pro am which included incredible gifts on the day. Then I was sent bag tags, a ball marker, balls to test. I don’t know of any other golf company that does this. I also like the way Titleist take their time in bringing out new gear unlike other ones that push new clubs every couple of months. They also take on board our feedback and if there is any problems Luke and previously Hannah do there best to luck after us. Proud to be a TeamTitleist member. PS any TT Hats going hahahahaha just kidding.

I’d like to think I am a Titleist grass root brand ambassador.
I’ve always had Titleist/Vokey/Scotty Cameron clubs and even footjoy apparel.
I get ribbed off my mates at the club for it and a couple of them changed brands and then asked me if they could come back to Team Titleist ha ha...
The lads are always wanting to try my clubs out against theirs.
I don’t however expect freebies from Titleist just for buying their Gear, if I receive anything then it’s a privilege and I choose to play Titleist because I think they’re the best unlike certain brands that bring gear out every couple of months.
Keep up the great work you’re doing TT.

I'll echo what Gaaary said. No other company supports it's "grass root Brand Ambassadors" like Titleist.

Like others have said, I agree that Titleist look after its dedicated 'Team' of afficianados. I have a full bag of Titleist clubs and this has been nicely supplement by a TT bag tag and a prized Hole in One tag.
What I was offering, was something in return for this. Having been to a couple of Titleist Thursdays, I know how popular these get and how pressured the fitters get, trying to fit in as many 'customers' as possible, including those who haven't booked.
I would be prepared to help with set up and to help them maximise fitting time by managing queues, taking questions on requirements etc.
Just a thought, to give something back rather than an ask for anything more than TT already give. I love my golf and am passionate about the clubs I use and having followed the PGA course, have above average knowledge of technical aspects. I enjoy sharing that knowledge with others and would be happy to expand on that...

That's a great idea Steve. I'm sure the Titleist fitters could use any extra hands they could get for their fitting sessions.
