    Know we have a lot to do and we do have Monday night dinner on our own. Talked one of our cart guys who is from that area and he said there is a great BBQ place in Bowling Green. Checked on line, Smokin' Joes, off Hwy 17. I am always up for trying local BBQ. Moved to SC in 1984 from Memphis, home of Blues and BBQ.

    If you are ever in Charleston, Lewis' is the place to eat. Best brisket this side of the Mississippi. Pitmaster is from Austin, Texas (Franklins).

    Nothing like being two months late Don. Tried to get a group to go. Ended up not eating at all. Was just worn out and tired. Packed and left the next morning. Hakuna matata. Glad I did, took two extra hours to get back to Charleston, and gave me time to prepare for Ian. Believe me, room service is not that great. Traveled the South East for various companies/organizations/agencies and all hotels seemed the same after twenty plus years on the road.
