    Hey Team,

I'm moving to Charlotte in the next couple weeks and was wondering what tracks you recommend. I appreciate any insights.

Welcome to NC. I don't play in Charlotte so unfortunately can't offer advice there. I live about three hours NW in the mountains. When you're blistering hot in the Summer and looking for a place cooler to play I woud be happy to help out. We rarely get aboue 78* degrees here and it may be a nice break when Charlotte is tickling the 100* mark on the thermometer.

Thank you all for the recommendations and welcoming to NC. Searching online and reading reviews is helpful, but I appreciate the TT insights!

@Wade W do you have connections at those clubs? I'm always looking for playing partners!

@Paul C. When the temps reach that high I will definitely head out your way!

@Guy W. I will most likely be south of the city. Thank you for the extensive list. I'm most likely going to "play around" before committing to any private club.

There are a lot of courses in the Charlotte area. What part are you moving to. South Park, Ballantyne area or up towards Lake Norman? Also depends on how much you want to pay. I'm up north and play Larkin in Statesville (some construction going on but a good course and not too expensive), Warrior in Landis/ China Grove and Mooresville. There are also Skybrook and Birkdale in Huntersville. On the west side of the lake there is Verdict Ridge. There are plenty of private clubs. Trump National, Penninsula Club, Quail Hollow and Cowans Ford come to mind. It all comes down to where you live and what quality of course you want to play. I'd venture to guess that there are a good 30 courses within an hour of Charlotte.

Hey there. I reecently moved to Charlotte a couple of years ago and there are a ton of great tracks around the area. Depending on where you actually settle, I can suggest a number of places to enjoy a round. I'm oin the Ballatyne area and currently belong to Firethorne Country Club but have played all over, from Rock Hills, SC to Lake Norman, NC to Raleigh. Let me know when you arrive and I can set you up with a comprehensive list of course in your area worth playing
