If you had to choose between these two destinations for a winter golfing trip, which would choose? Feel free to included any other of your favorite golfing trip destinations.

We annually take a winter run to RTJ have been for years now love it. Never been HHI but I am sure it is as nice. Winter golf, green fairways and good friends can't go wrong there.

RTJ - but this time of year....swing to the gulf coast and play Kiva Dunes, Peninsula, Gulf Shore CC, Lost Key, Craft Farms, etc.

Hilton Head can be cold in the winter. I have played next door on neighboring Dataw Island in February. It was cold and overseeded with everything quite brown. I have played in Arizona where everything is nice and lush in winter. Not sure about the RTJ Trail. I would think it would be a bit warmer there than SC.

If I were doing a winter trip, just to be somewhat safe from the cold, I would choose FL, AZ, Puerto Rico, or if money weren't an issue, Hawaii. I play west coast of Florida every February. It's okay, but only the best courses are worth a trip in my opinion. Streamsong would be awesome. I think GA might be nice too. There are some great tracks out by Sea Island, including Sea Island. Probably a little warmer than HH, but not a whole lot.

I've played RJT courses in March and it was in the low 40's with wind. The only people on the course were from WI, MI and SD. Of those I talked to, all were happy to be away from the north's cold and snow. Made the best of it on some nice golf courses.
