I went to my local pro and got fit for a GTS 2 driver tensei red and a GTS2 4 wood tensei blue to upgrade from my TSR2s . Driver gave me an extra 6 mph ball speed roughly extra 10 yards distance. Brilliant, hit it 7 times during my round and a rattle started like a piece of glue knocking about in it. Strange as it stopped on my next round. Ive hit my 4 wood 3 times in the round, went to clean it yesterday and noticed a crack in the toe as photo shows took it back to my local pro and he has swapped the head for the demo until Titleist get back to him. Frustrated but hopefully everything gets sorted.www.titleist.com/.../dtvvnekuhp7ztgjvlfm9

Titleist GTS Driver Reviews: Real Golfer Fitting Experiences

If you have been fit, tried, or purchased a new Titleist GTS driver, this is the thread where you can share your thoughts on look, feel, and performance.

To help get the conversation started, we pulled some of our favorites from reviews across our own forums and other online communities. And while we encourage you to read through all these thoughtful reviews below, we will continue to add staff favorites as they come in.

Staff Favorites

"Had my GTS fitting, didn't think they could get that much better, but picked up 4mph ball speed and 15 yards on average. Moving to a GTS3 from the GT2 and just bombed some drives. And the fairway woods. Wow. Love the face change, just adds more confidence and great launch." — Tim M.

"Gamed [a GTS driver] this weekend at the Team Titleist Ballyhack event. Definitely hotter across the face than GT. Especially noticed increased carry on a couple of thinned drives. They still got out there! Sound has also improved over GT, more similar to TSR. Also hit the GTS4 a few times and it's really good. First time I've seen a 460cc head in the 4 option." — Wade W.

"My GTS4 is cooking right now. Not sure what kind of funky voodoo they put in this thing, but wow." — MtnBiker5

Let's not stop here. For anyone who gets fit for a GTS driver or adds one to their bag, we would love to hear your review as well!

Please note: to keep this thread clean, any responses that aren't a first-person experience with new GTS metals will be moved to a more appropriate discussion topic.

I replace a 5-year old png as the data was showing 5 extra yards and more importantly higher loft. The first opportunity I had to hit the GTS was a 2nd shot on the par 5 sixth hole. Smack!! 220 yards right down the middle for a 90-yard wedge shot remaining (with my Vokey of course). Love this new GTS!!

RE: Titleist GTS Driver Reviews: Real Golfer Fitting Experiences

Another David B,

Fitted early for GT2, which I thought was clear step up and so was fitted early for GTS2 for curiosity. It’s more forgiving and gets me a club or two closer for an approach. Bought the driver and 3 wood with Tensi R-2 lite shaft for a 79 yr old. I’m a 10.9 from 13.6 in about 4 weeks. I even was able to trade in my former GT2 and 3 wood.
All the metrics of the GTS4 - shot dispersion, carry, spin rate, showed improvement from my current TSR3. Hard to say how that translates to “on course” performance though. Got fitted for and ordered the new GTS4 on 17 May but it has not yet been delivered. Guidance on when it will arrive is ambiguous at best. Hopeful to have it for Father’s Day match with my boys.

RE: Titleist GTS Driver Reviews: Real Golfer Fitting Experiences

Was very excited to receive my GTS2 driver 2 weeks ago. I was not officially fitted for it as I was fitted for the GT3 driver and the shaft was already working well. I tried the different GTS models and settled on the GTS2. I attached my Ventus Velecore to it and dove right in. I absolutely love this driver and find the distance to be a bit longer on center hits but off center hits don't seem to lose much distance. it looks great, sounds great and the ability to shape tee shots is no doubt better.

Everyone - I wanted to shar what an outstanding club fitting experience I had with Michelle Z. We spent nearly 3.5 hours together, even in the driving rain working through my entire bad from drive down to the wedges. the results were incredible. Michelle got everything dialed in perfectly. With the new GTS3 drive, I picked up about 15 yards compared to my previous TSR3. The biggest surprise was with the T250 irons. My old 718 AP3 which previous carrying around 167 yards, with the new club its in consistently over 180 yards. The attention to detail, knowledge and patience Michelle demonstrated the throughout the fitting process made a tremendous difference. Every club wa carefully evaluated and adjusted to optimize performance. I couldn't be happier with results and wanted to thank Michelle for her expertise and dedication. What a difference the right fit can make. Plus, i just signed up for a TT event in August can't wait.

RE: Titleist GTS Driver Reviews: Real Golfer Fitting Experiences

Went from gt2 to the gts2 and gained about 8 yards and dispersion tightened. Without a doubt I love it ,compared to the gt its night and day I disliked the gt3 immensely went back to the tsr3 and traded the gt3 in for the gt mini driver after playing with it for 8 or 9 months. Was fitted for both gt and gts drivers just didn't work out with gt3 driver .Best thing about gts3 dispersion is much better and don't lose as much distance on mishits.plus elevation and spin rates are better. Would also like to say I like the mini driver gt280 that I traded for have replaced my 3 wood with it play it off tee occasionally when situation seems to call for it and its plays off the deck wonderfully gets elevated in air effortlessly. I would certainly say the gts3 is best driver I've ever had

NEW Titleist GTS Drivers and Fairways (Official Discussion)

The wait is over.

Wasn't in the market for a new driver as I love my current TSR3, but always looking for improvements. Tried the GTS3 and wow! What a difference! Just received my new driver last week and it is by far, the best club I have put in the bag. The look and feel are awesome.....not to mention the extra ball speed. The adjustability of the GTS3 was a big plus for me in finding the right fit. I must admit I was a bit of a skeptic at first, but this thing lived up to the hype. The engineers at Titleist got this one right!

RE: Titleist GTS Driver Reviews: Real Golfer Fitting Experiences

Sounds like I need to do a fitting...probably overdue for a new driver anyways

RE: Titleist GTS Driver Reviews: Real Golfer Fitting Experiences

Titleist GTS2 First Impressions

I thought I would be fit into a GTS2 driver with a stiff shaft as my speed isn’t what it used to be. I walked out having been fit into the 10 degree GTS3 with the Tensei 1k black xstiff 65g shaft. Speed was up about 3mph over the old driver with about 10m of extra carry.

I was then fit into the GTS2 15 degree fairway metal with the Tensei 1k black stiff 75g shaft. The fairway metals have such a massive improvement over the previous few iterations. The forgiveness is incredible.

RE: 3 Clubs for a Round – How Would You Play It?

I would do my 3 Wood, Pitching Wedge and my putter

3 Clubs for a Round – How Would You Play It?

I was thinking recently about a 3-club tournament I played a few years back. The course was on the shorter side, roughly 5,800 yards. I decided to go with a 3-wood, 8-iron, and 54-degree wedge. I ended up using the 3-wood as a putter from longer distances and the 54-degree wedge as a putter from shorter distances.

Everyone in the event seemed to have a different strategy, which was part of the fun and really shows how much it comes down to what works for your game.

It got me curious. If you had to play 18 holes with just 3 clubs, which ones would you choose? Or if you’ve played in a similar event, what clubs did you decide to go with?

Team Titleist Dormie 2026, Ballyhack 2

It was another fabulous gathering at Ballyhack Golf Club near Roanoke, VA for the fifth event hosted by the inimitable Wade Whitehead and Team Titleist’s Lisa Maybruch and Stephen Faucher. Fantastic late spring weather greeted us after a week’s worth of rain at the course. Conditions were excellent— fast, receptive greens, firm fairways, long rough, and mostly light breezes. Practice, warm up round on Friday introduced is to Ballyhack’s intricacies. A competitive, but still fun round on Sunday challenged us all to do our best. Sunday afternoon offered GTS fittings and a par three Cluster on the front nine. Dinner, and Wade’s always challenging Titleist Trivia quiz accompanied prize winner announcements and much animated discussion among the attendees.

Many thanks to Lisa, Stephen, and especially Wade for another outstanding event. We are all looking forward to continuing old friendships along with the new ones made this weekend at other Team Titleist events as well as off line.
[View:http://www.titleist.com/discussion-images/jpg//teamtitleist/cfs-file/__key/acushnet-telligent-discussions-attachments/discussions-09-00/g5vug9gdsmnofzkxcnfg:550:0][View:http://www.titleist.com/discussion-images/jpg//teamtitleist/cfs-file/__key/acushnet-telligent-discussions-attachments/discussions-09-00/rkvzeacfvkag76ycvl0n:550:0][View:http://www.titleist.com/discussion-images/jpg//teamtitleist/cfs-file/__key/acushnet-telligent-discussions-attachments/discussions-09-00/qojwlvqcg2n5gjbw9xhy:550:0][View:http://www.titleist.com/discussion-images/jpg//teamtitleist/cfs-file/__key/acushnet-telligent-discussions-attachments/discussions-09-00/quczfchmajz23mzs7grl:550:0][View:http://www.titleist.com/discussion-images/jpg//teamtitleist/cfs-file/__key/acushnet-telligent-discussions-attachments/discussions-09-00/hglfwqmct9mwpql9t6ms:550:0]

RE: Team Titleist Dormie 2026, Ballyhack 2

Looked like an amazing time. My Handicap on GHIN is a 9.2. I haden't played golf in 3 weeks, because I was on vacation fishing, that is my other hobby. We played at 6:50 AM so it was too early to warm up and hit balls I grabbed my new driver without hitting it. Just played the A1 setting it was on when delivered. I am pleased to say that I hit all 14 fairways !! I definitely noticed distance gains over my GT2, Which by the way I loved !! My ball flight was a nice fade with distance, not a weak fade either. I currently have a TP T Nitro shaft in my GT and I am not sure if I will even put that in my GTS2, I hit the ball so well with the 1k RIP shaft. I will be comparing shafts this week on the driving range. First impressions the GTS2 is a great driver and I believe it is faster than the GT2. So far for me it was worth buying the GTS2. I also play Titleist AVX ball if anyone is wondering.
I am coming from the TSr3, and prior to that was in the TSi3. I didn't have a great experience with the GT fitting, however, this time it was amazing. Chase Wood fit me at Sherrill Park, and his ability to change the shot shape, launch, and total distance was wild to me. However, the most incredible was the ability to dial down the spin, even to the point of not enough spin! The split weighting on the GTS2 was the winner for me, +4 grams, and 15 front/5 back. Then we started on the shafts... and I wound up in the Graphite Design Di7x. I walked away so pumped for a new driver that would restore some confidence on the tee box!

It was delivered on Friday last week, and I was able to hit a few balls on Saturday. I was worried that my fitting experience wouldn't carry over to the "real world" but I have to say I was thrilled to find that I was able to hit the same shots with it that I saw during my fitting! In other words, it worked! I was blown away by the stability for such a light driver and the speed was consistent with what I saw during the fitting. This driver is a complete game changer from the tee box forward! I haven't been this excited about a new club since I got my U500 3i ... Thanks Titleist for a phenomenal new tool in the bag!

RE: Titleist GTS Driver Reviews: Real Golfer Fitting Experiences

They look good, they sound like they are good!
