Living in Southern California allows for outdoor home setup year round. Putting green (turns into Family Putting Contest at holiday gatherings) also added mat & net with Garmin G80 launch monitor.

Thx Chuck - figured as much. For us up here in Ontario the 5-6 months of winter are all too long even if you can manage a few weeks south for a holiday.

For my part, I have a Foresight Sports GCQ on an 10x12 Fiberbuilt Combo matt. I replaced the grass series hitting strip with a Bullseye Sports original version for additional realism and project from a Optoma ZU606TST-W WUXGA Laser Projector 6,000 Lumens onto a Par2Pro SQ Projection screen. I use both FSX Play and GSPro for game software and use a couple of Imaging Source cameras for Swing Video capture using Swing Catalyst. Built the frame and structure myself in the basement. We are righties only due to a bulkhead which could not be moved but this works for us. Run the software form a Lenovo Legion Desktop gaming PC. Overall we are pretty happy with the results.

I have had a indoor simulator setup in my basement with 9 ft ceilings for over 10 years now. Originally it was setup based on the Optishot system. It has a surround of netting built with PVC pipe as supports. It has a fabric screen and ceiling mounted projector. I use a laptop to run the simulation and to display the images to the screen. I have a golf mat to hit off of. I recently upgraded the simulator to the Orbit launch monitor running the Orion golf software. It's a great way to keep your swing over the winter.

Garmin R10 with Net Return net in the garage. I hung a TV from the ceiling with an Apple TV connected and project the Awesome golf app from the iPad. Recommend it all. Would love to use it more but my son has taken it over!

Jason, do not worry yourself trying to figure out how to post pictures to a previous post. It is not possible. Only the originator of the post can post pictures. This was figured out months ago. Think it was because of the overload of pictures in the system. Think Dale said it was using up too much data, or something like that. All I know for sure is that we cannot post pictures to an already posted discussion. Hakuna matata.

Be nice to have a home simulator. No room. Just have to go to the range and play golf, which is fine with me. Not really into numbers, but into how the ball feels and how it performs on the course. Living in the south we have pretty weather most of the year. Just an old fashioned country boy. =)

I have a Foresight GCQuad setup in my garage. I bought their Sim-in-a-box package a few years ago and have been quite happy with it. It is expensive but a better value than trying to do the same setup with Trackman. I just got a Flightscope Mevo+. I wanted something a little more compact and easier to take outdoors to the range plus they had a great sale on it over Thanksgiving. I've only been able to try it out once so far but the data it kicks out is pretty impressive. Plan to try it out with Titleist's RCT balls in my garage to see how it compares with the GCQuad.

No photos yet as my project just started. The first piece was delivered last week, which is a Full Swing KIT launch monitor. I wanted something that was portable to take to the outdoor range if I wanted, and it has a built in camera for down the line video capture.

Representing the DIY garage-build out crowd here. Easily taken down for when it snows or hails and I need to bring my truck inside. A Garmin R10 is used to provide questionable distance data from my PV1 RCT balls. On a side note, getting fitted next week for a TSR2 or TSR3, TSR fairways, and U505. Thanks, credit card reward points!
