Just wanted to thank Andy Inman of CT once again for my fitting yesterday. I currently have a TS2 9* driver with an Evenflow shaft, and Andy worked with me to find the right shaft, flex, head, lift, ball speed, and launch angle in a way that made it fun and exciting. I went from hitting it with a slight slice 230 carry (250 roll) to carrying it over 250! If you are thinking of getting fitted for this new driver…DO IT! Cannot wait to get mine in the mail in 2 weeks!

Hey Joshua! The slice, did he and the club help keep it in the middle of the fairway? Golf is about having fun, right? A nice butter cut is a game saver. Hope it works great for you pal. I love a nice cut shot with the driver, something I can count on. Hakuna matata. =)
  3. I also had great results with the TSr lineup. Gained 14 yards over my TSi driver.

Congratulations on a successful LEFT handed fitting. Titleist is offering more LH options to match the RH line. What really impressed me with the fittings are the fitters really dialing the head and shaft for optimal performance. Don’t even consider buying off the rack with the options for shafts. Or using the same head with the same as a prior release. My fitter went in directions with and no other way would a 72 year old gain 7 mph ball speed.

I just had my fitting as well. TSR3 on the way! 2 weeks can't get here fast enough. Now I just need to work on club head speed training. Still got less spin & more carry distance. Hitting 270 - 280 yards with my slow swing? No way. But the numbers don't lie. I'm going to another "free" fitting at local club in two weeks. I just want to verify numbers. I wasn't too fond of the fitter I had. I was his last of the day & it seemed as though he really wanted to get out of there. Wasn't too personable to be honest.

    Hey Joshua,

Just had a fitting with Andy today over at Cote’s! Great guy - was blown away that he’s an incredible guitarist who has toured with some BIG names (Sheryl Crow for one).

Anyways, your yardages are similar to mine and Andy accomplished similar improvements for me. Like you, the TSR2 was the answer, but 10* with the Project X HZRDUS Black 4G 60.

Good luck with the new driver!

BTW - where do you play? I’m usually found in Norwich on the weekends.

I’ve played Norwich CC once before, love the Rose! I typically play at Yale, sometimes I’ll meet a buddy at Racebrook or Lyman Orchards.

I also recently had my TSR fitting at Black Gold GC with Jon Worrall...have to say it was the best club fitting I've ever had. Most companies will either try to fit you over the phone (which is not the best as I think you really need to see ball flight, spin, etc.), or will just have a few shaft offerings and not even consider length, tipping, hosel settings, etc. Jon was very meticulous and the final result was several non-standard options. Final fit was TSR2, 10 deg., C3 setting, HZRDUS 50 CB stiff (but additional .5" tipping to get spin rate down) and .5" shorter overall. Must have tried over 15 different shafts and settings! It was an awesome fit day and looking forward to receiving the club soon! Thanks Jon!

You got me Robert when said fittings over the phone. Something I have never heard of. Does not sound too personal and effective. I would be very skeptical of those fittings. Actually I would run the other way. Just me. Veeeeeery interesting.

Ya Chuck...I won't give names or anything but I had a couple of those. They ask certain questions that would lead them into going a specific direction, but there's so many things that you can't get over the phone, and they rely on your estimates and feedback as to ball flight you want, etc., etc. It's a very inexact science when dealing with something like that. For example, unless you specifically know that you need, say, .5" shorter to make better centered strikes, how can that be deduced from a phone call? Anyways, needless to say, I was very happy with the fitting with Jon and am going back to see him at the end of the month for an iron fitting!

PS...Just got my driver today and am looking forward to hitting it and playing this weekend!!
