  1. Hi TT:

Just finished the last round on the Monterey portion of our buddy bucket list trip. Played, Half Moon Bay, Pebble twice, Spyglass and Spanish Bay. An excellent trip with a great group of friends. Although my overall scores were not good, due to a swing fault I was fighting before the trip, I do have some highlights to take home. Reaching 8 and 9 from the golds on both days, birdieing the #1 handicap hole on Spanish Bay, and a birdie on the "toughest shortest par 3 at Spyglass.

Highly recommend the trip if you can swing it.

Have played Spyglass and loved it. A lot of great golf courses in the Carmel/Monterey/Pacific Grove area for all levels of golfers. We use to go to San Francisco then drive down to that area for a few day and stay in Pacific Grove or Monterey. We spent our honeymoon in SF in 1978 and my wife fell in love in the city. At the time I worked as a District Manager for a division of Levi Strass who's corporate headquarters is in SF. Need to make a return trip. San Diego and Palm Springs are two areas in California to put on any bucket list. Been there and loved it.
    Outstanding golf.

I'm fortunate enough to live a few hours from the Monterey area. It's definitely a trip to be added to anyone's golf bucket list. As Chuck Z mentioned, SoCal has some nice areas to visit too. The Palm Springs area would make a great buddies trip.
