Well, today I took the Ball Plant Iii tour and it did not disappoint! After watching a short video, you are taken through each step of the ProV1, ProV1X, and AVX balls. Amazing to see them come together from raw materials to finished product. The tolerances these balls need to meet are robust to say the least, and it have me a new appreciation of the ball. Our tour guide was a retired employee, and was extremely knowledgeable. At the end, we got a Titleist water, bumper sticker, and commemorative golf ball. The visitor center was really cool, with ProV1, V1X, and AVX in all play numbers 00-99 in stock, as well as dozens of the elusive left dash (only 1 dozen per person). They also had some cool exclusive Team Titleist stuff that I snapped up. They had some other TT merchandise, but I could only spend so much. Enjoy the photo, and if you can take the tour, do it!

Its on my Bucket list. My office is only 30 miles away. Unfortunately I don't get to visit often.

I have my tour scheduled for August, cannot wait. My credit card is already bracing for the abuse.

BTW, reminder to everyone, no "drop ins" allowed. You must reserve a tour spot which can be done on-line. I would hate to see someone make the drive only to be turned away. Cheers!

Just as an aside. When I’m in the area it is often in December for a family party. The date is often during factory shutdown for the holidays. Still working on making it when the tour is available.

Not only reserve a spot, but everyone on the tour must be registered for TT. Thanks!

Im planning on going. Hopefully soon. Its about a four hour drive from where I live. My credit card will be suffering from the hurting from TT merchandise. Was there a lot of merchandise to choose from??

The ball plant tour is an awesome experience. Especially if you get to go with your son. The staff members there are second to none. A day I will never forget!
