I didnt get a good look at the Team Titleist headcover because it sold out in about 10 mins lol It looked well made but I am wondering if it followed the TS line of a flat boxing glove or the preformed classy style boxing glove style of the late 917 and 818 line that I absolutely love. I didnt mind the old sock style but I found the sock would hit the divider and bunch up anyway so losing the sock didnt bother me. I dont care for the TS line headcovers at all (graphics are fine but the shape looks cheap) Just a couple pieces of flat leather sewn together instead of the nice craftsmanship of the boxing glove style of the 917 line that fits perfectly and looks like it was made for that purpose. The exclusive collections of headcovers from Majors and other events mainly have the preformed headcovers, I am wondering why Titleist decided to stray from that design.

    Your thoughts?

    8.5 TS3, 13.5 TS3, 718 T-MB 2i, 718 CB 3-5i, 718 MB 6-9i, Vokey SM7 RAW 46, 53, 60*, Scotty Cameron 2014 Newport 2 Select

I absolutely LOVE the team Titleist gear and wish more than anything I could get the opportunity to snag some. I heard a rumor the ONLY way to obtain some TT gear is by posting comments? Has anyone any advice on this? I've been a member of team Titleist for YEARS and only just now heard about this avenue.

Not true...TT gear is also available to purchase after your Ball Plant 3 tour. In addition, there are announced TT gear drops which are sold on the official Titleist website. Your updated and complete Titleist profile and participation in this forum can result in some surprises from the TT Staff.

No rumors here, just facts... Lots of posts on this subject. The only TT merchandise store is connected to the Ball Plant 3 tours. At the end of the tour you can select and purchase some items. Plant tours are scheduled in advance, info available here on the website. Next best way to get items would be to attend a Team Titleist event. The major events have the most items but even the local golf days approved by Team Titleist will have a few items like a bag tag, ball marker, or divot tool. Occasionally, as supplies were available, Team Titleist would do occasional, random sales drops using this site and the Facebook site for notification of a few items and small quantities so they usually sell out fast. No guarantee these offering will continue or when they might happen as supply chains are still a problem. Finally, and the least likely, are just random mail outs to members for contributions to the forum. Getting gear just based on posting comments is the least likely thing to happen. Posting comments for the benefit of fellow TT members and getting their thanks is the greatest reward.

This TT cover is not a new design. They were used as special awards giveaways in the past and I believe selling them now way an effort to finish off inventory. As for the TS covers, not sure what determined the changes. I like the graphic design well enough but also am not crazy about the fit. I think they are just a bit too short. The gap between the bottom of the cover and the bag makes them look a bit funny and provides less shaft protection. I'm using the black & red premium cover sold separately as i like the fit.

It's similar to the TS line of headcovers, but is a little "slimmer" fitting. Mine was actually tight fitting.

  8. It does depend on what bag your using too when it comes to how much they protect the shaft. I understand why most companies moved away from the sock because they were quite annoying to pull off and put on.

I'm a user of the 917 and the weight end is raised up and that most putting these head covers on quite difficult.

I love mine but I'm having it personalized to minimize the possibly of having it stolen.

I’m a small-time Scotty headcover collector but I am a BIG-time TT headcover fan. I received one at an event in Scotland and the other thanks to the alarm I set. TT4life
