  1. I'm lucky that we're on a shutdown between Christmas and New Years annually... so that means GOLF! Last year, we got so much rain that it didn't go as planned. This year, I've got 2 groups for the 27th, one in the works for the 29th, and possibly gonna get out early on the 26th! Anyone else taking advantage of a holiday shutdown?

I pray I get the opportunity. Like you I am also off between Christmas and New Years. My son is coming in for the holidays and it would be great to get out and play, however sad for us my mother in law is also flying in for the holidays.

Wish I could but it's my year to cover some of the shifts of other guys taking leave. Maybe next year! Hit 'em straight.

Hey Robert L, It's been in the high 50s here at the Jersey Shore this week. Getting in a few rounds this week. It's supposed to stay nice till after Christmas. As long as the course stays open, layer up and play.
    Play Well,

  6. As a teacher we are on holiday shutdown from 12/21-1/2. We have to get this VA weather to cooperate though. Played yesterday and will play today, mid 50's to about 60 degrees, but the the weather is about to turn cold and damp over the break :( After Christmas it looks like we will be in the low 30's for daytime high's. That is tough golf weather right there! Hope everyone is able to get out and enjoy their new Titleist presents!

Definitely!! As long as the weather holds up and doesn't snow so fingers crossed. Any chance I get I'll be out playing to make the most of a week off!

We traditionally have a little outing on New Year's Day at my club (south shore of MA) weather permitting. Not sure it will happen this year, time will tell.

Almost always get a lot of golf in during the holiday break. Not this year, headed to Cabo with the kids and the clubs are staying home.

I have my fingers crossed. We are also on break for a few weeks, but the ground is still covered with snow up in New England... :(

Play well and enjoy your time off.

Would love to, but the ground is covered in snow, by the end of the week the high is going to be 0 and there is snow on the ground. Plus the courses in ND have been closed since the beginning of October.

I might hit at the indoor simulator next week, we'll see. Otherwise i'll be practicing putting in my basement. Happy Holidays to everyone and have fun playing if you get the chance.

Any downtime for me will be spent ice fishing.
  14. I actually ended up playing 4 straight days (26-29). Hope you all did too! =D
