  1. I own a SC fastback 2015. Very happy with it, but yesterday I was playing in the pouring rain and the red dots all came off one by one. I even lost one of them, so I can’t glue them on anymore. Anyone has an idea if titleist could replace it or if these dots are available for purchase?

    Thanks

  2. Same thing happened to me this past fall. I took the "opportunity" and decided to customize my Scotty. I sent it back to have paint fill, dots, and weights redone. Check out the Scotty Cameron Custom Shop website for a complete list of available services and fee schedule. Good Luck !
  3. Yes, it is a simple fix. You can call Titleist Warranty (probably will not charge you anything outside of shipping potentially) or send it in the SC Custom Shop (potential cost since you may want something done to your putter such as new weights or new grip etc...)

    Good Luck!

Happened to me as well. I sent it back to Cameron and it came back good as new!

...and to me as well. I've had my SC FASTBACK 2018 about 3 weeks. Today on the course I saw one of the dots on the sole was gone. Seems like a quality control issue. Disappointed.

I am looking at fixing this by going to the Custom Shop and just going whole hog with a complete new paint job.
    But, before I do:

Has anyone had a problem with the dots coming off after a Custom Shop makeover?

Seems like the CS would use the same paint, glue and process as the original shop. I'd hate to go through this again after an expensive custom job. This is already my second putter; I returned the first because the milling on the face was marred. Thoughts?

It would be disappointing for Titleist not to do the repair at no cost.
  9. If you don't want to go without your putter for a few weeks, you can replace the dots by doing the paint job yourself. There are a few vids on YouTube for how to do this, it's $10-20 worth of materials (e.g., paint, tiny tip paint applicator, acetone) and an hour or so worth of time. If you make a mistake, whip it away with acetone and try again.

No idea what this does for the warranty, but it takes your putter out of commission overnight vs. weeks, and you can go with your custom color.

I’d call customer service and let them deal with it. You don’t deserve a DIY job unless you want it. They owe it to you to fix the issue.

Thank you all for your helpful suggestions.

I DON'T want to go without my putter for weeks.

Nor do I want to do a half-baked shade tree shaky DIY job, like the guys whose cars smoke or taillights melt.

Right now, I'm trying to suck it up and embrace the functionality of a good putter.

Even if the cosmetics are $--tty on a $400 putter.

  12. There are plenty of custom putter works on Instagram... some of the designs are incredible!
  13. I removed mine, all on my own.... gorgeous?
