Does anyone know how you can find "qualified" fitters for Scotty Putters. By "qualified" I mean fitters that offer all the SC models to try and have some sort of measuring technology (like SAM Putting Lab) to measure performance of a putter when you use it?

Steve, not sure of your location, but I would start with a putter fitting. I went to Club Champion and based on the SAM fitting, it narrowed down what putter shape I should be playing. This imo helps eliminate a bunch of head shapes and let's you concentrate better on what head shape to test out.

Titleist may be able to recommend sites like a Cameron Showcase to you in your state. My Premier fitter site also does SAM measurements, but I called to check to see if a site used more than the png free application that my local big box store used. To get the experience that MG-TX got.

MG_TX - that is exactly what I did. Went to Club Champion and it told me what degree of toe hang to look for. I've narrowed it down to four SC putters. The problem is that I can't find all four in places where I can test them on a real green. I'm reluctant to drop$380+ on a a new SC without seeing and feeling it on real turf. That just seem like a "shot in the dark".
  6. Titleist National Fitting Centres offer through the bag sessions which include putters.
Or you could make the pilgrimage to Encinitas as I did in the summer. A 2 hour session was $350 and very beneficial, plus you get to see the shop and buy lots of cool Scotty merchandise :)
