    Hi,

I just saw the new Futura 2017 lineup and I would have picked up a Futura 5S but once again, only 1 model available for lefties...

Sorry but it saddens me being "left" out for so many years...

Let's face it - you're Sinister. (it's ok, so am I). It would be nice if even if the volumes don't justify a full distribution, that fitters could order some temporarily to demo and then get them shipped from Cameron on special order. I get why retailers only have RH on the rack (and why I go to pro shops), but you can still order almost every other club LH.

So tell me, how can png make LH clubs for their whole range of clubs while other mnufacturers often limit their selection? Being left handed, it is frustrating.
  4. As a fellow leftie, I feel your pain. I know economics say we're a minority and cost doesn't justify, but it would be nice to have a few more options in the Scotty Cameron line of putters. I'd love one of the Newport 3 putters. Don't kick me out of Team Titleist, but I've gone to other putter models in order to find one that fits my interest. I'll come back once Cameron adds a few more options for us.

    Enjoy!

  5. Titleist seems to be the only vendor that skimps on lefty equipment. I work in golf retail and I see other vendors supplying us with lots for lefties. Come on Titleist, get with it

I'm a lefty too and it def. feels like we get left out of getting to play alot of cool equipment, but lately it's really just been with putters. It used to be that us lefties could only get certain grinds and colors with the Vokey's but that's changed. Maybe eventually the putters will come around too. Fingers crossed.

As another left hander, I share the frustration. As stated, it is understandable why few left handed putters are available on the floor, but not even being able to order left handed putters is very frustrating. I use a png putter for this reason. The one thing I like about png, is every club they sell is also available in left handed versions.

It saddens me too when I look for extra length pants and large size shoes.

Face it. Lefties and tall people have a tough time finding stuff. And if you are a tall lefty, you are in deep trouble.
  9. Just really dissapointed that they only have a single lefty option. Lefty options have gotten much better with most club makers. I wonder why they continually get worse with the Cameron putter line...
  10. Fellow lefty here, I know the same exact feeling y'all have...a lot of my golf shops carry an extremely limited selection of left-handed clubs, and since I like to hold and test out clubs in person before buying them, it's been difficult to find a new set of clubs for me. Curse my left-handedness!

It does hurt not having a good selection of the best putters in the game. I've owned several Scottys now, but having an option between basically a Newport 2 and one mallet isn't appetizing. The Del Mar aka GoLo 3 is my favorite design and we lost access to that after the California models. Even the Newport 1 is only available in right, which in turn doesn't get us an option to a Rat or Super Rat. A couple of amazing putters that we will never be able to game. This new 5MB would be a guaranteed purchase for me if it came in LH.
  12. Do I understand this correctly if I read that leftys only have the option to order Newport 2 this year..? No Dual Balence for example..?

Same here. I would get the 5S in a heartbeat if I could get it in left.

Another lefty here, I've been praying for a left handed Newport/Select 2.5 style for years. It is dissapointing that being a left handed golfer, it doesn't allow me to enjoy the best quality putters on the market. :( Every year I wait in hopes that the new seasons putter releases will have more lefty options. Isn't there a big enough market for Scotty Cameron to make more left handed options?
  15. Same here a have a couple Scotty's would love to get the newport 2.5

I would like a simple Newport or the Futura 5S. Will be sticking with my SC California Del Mar.

I was at the PGA Superstore in Chicago hitting clubs. I wanted to hit the png Iblade. They didn't have a head to demo, but they had a full set on the wall for sale. Most clubs are custom fitted now. Why would you not provide a head to demo? I guess I could have hit the clubs on the wall, but they had DG S300's on them, which I didn't want to buy.

Well with a total of 3 LH models from Scotty comprised of the 6M, 5CB and Newport 2 I'm losing loyalty towards these putters. Given options for the other more desirable SC putters I would certainly choose them. I mean SC sometimes seems to choose the models that need a sales boost, offers those models LH so we feel obligated to buy, then blames us for not purchasing them. If a center shaft or 2.5 or the Newport 3 were ever offered for us then we would all flock to buy them. I know SC would disagree with that statement. I guess my point is the hot models are gonna sell anyways and the so so ones offered LH were pegged from the start as never having a chance of being a sales success anyways. Its all about commodities. With that being said I will give the 5CB a shot as the original GoLo 5 was one of my favorite putters of all time. So I view the 5CB as a good multi material update.

I have posted a few times begging Scotty to change up his lefty offering. I have played a Newport 2.5 for almost 15 years because he hasn't made a lefty version in nearly that long. The Newport 2 might be the best selling model but why not offer the lefty Newport 2 one year then the Newport 2.5 the year after. Rotate what models you offer lefties, Scotty!
  20. I can not echo this enough. There have been a number of Scotty's that I have wanted and would have purchased, but sadly not offered in left handed. At some point it has to be offered or at least have a special order process.
  21. I too am frustrated by the lack of LH putters being offered by SC. I would buy a LAGUNA putter right now in LH if they offered. My pro shop has at least 7-8 LH guys that would by a SC but for the lack of offering in anything other than a blade putter. Dont understand it.

Economics excuse I dont buy. They could/would sell a lot of LH putters if they offered more

You could go reverse "Blaine McCallister". He plays righty and putts lefty. :) Well, i guess that's not a great idea as he no longer plays on tour. Then there's Notah Begay... double sided putter so he could always have a hook putt. I know, its not that funny when you are excluded from what's available to others. There are a few companies out there that do make some great custom putters you might want to check out.

    Background on left handed golf
Although 10-15% of the world's population are left-handed, there are far lower percentage of left-handed golfers than that. There are a number of reasons for this:

Many left-handers seem to play golf right-handed, which for many of them seems more natural as they are leading with their left side, left eye and turning anti-clockwise (why do right-handers play that way as well?)
Until recently it was difficult to get hold of left-handed golf clubs so lefties just made do with what was available
Most instructors and instruction materials are right-handed and that seems to be the “correct” way to play.
