In April i was lucky enough to play a round at El Cameleon! It was a fun round of golf and the course and people ran a 1st class operation. Having that opportunity, I am looking forward to watching the tour this week and see the big dawgs play! Im sure JT will be scoring a little better than I did!

Anyone else play any good loops from the PGA tour schedule?

Yep, played El Camaleon back in January and loved it too. As for courses played by the PGA Tour, I have done Colonial CC (FW TX), Carnoustie, Harbour Town, Kapalua Plantation, Kiawah Ocean, Pebble Beach, PGA West, Pinehurst #2, St. Andrews Old Course, Torrey Pines North and South, TPC San Antonio, and Whistling Straits. The entire course play list sits at 137. I still have more on my "to do" list but would die happy tomorrow knowing I got these done. Cheers!

I would also die happily with such an exquisite list of golf courses, Dale.

Dale you have quite the list! I hope to get to pinehurst someday, that seems like golf heaven. The only other tour type spot i have had the pleasure was a lap around oakmont. It was amazing!

is that 137 courses you’ve played that have been used on any of the Professional tours? if so, that’s pretty good.

Ha, no, 137 different courses total, which for me is pretty good as most my rounds were local to the DFW for years before the kids graduated and I was able to do more golf travel. Maybe some day I can figure a way to count how many rounds were played at my home course in TX and here in San Diego. I do a lot of repeat play at courses I like.

Rob i was down there in April 2021 because my brother in law got married. We flew in to cancun and stayed at El Dorado Seaside Suites, whish was probably 45 mins south of the airport. I got the tee time online and the golf course came an picked my wife and I up in a really nice car. I also played PGA Riveria Maya. which was also awesome golf, much cheaper and closer to the resort we stayed at!

If your going down there, i 100% recommend it. theres a lot of resorts in that area and if you're there you may as well play some golf!!

Yeah Rob, I just played the one round on that trip and had the wife with me so we stayed up at the Cancun hotel district. The course provided transportation to-and-from my hotel so that was a big plus. Staying in one of the hotels within the Mayakoba property would be great if you were mainly there for golf. The property is kind of in the mangroves so the better beaches are in Cancun or nearby Playa Del Carmen resorts. You can't really go wrong staying anywhere out there. I love Cabo and it's closer for us but Cancun will always be a favorite destination for me.

I was looking forward to the next TT event, but could not make it happen due to the international situation. I was lucky to play TPC Louisiana and The CC of Jackson this year. See you guys in 2023 (i hope)
