Congratulations to Steve Stricker on wining the U.S. Senior Open. One of the nicest guys on tour.

Completely controlled the tournament - even with a 913 D2 (that he was forced to get when his 909 cracked) and it looked like his irons were pre-AP2 cavity backs. His putter is vintage with TW's Cameron. Guess that proves if it ain't broke, don't fix it. How many times was he 20-40 yards ahead of Jerry Kelly for the second shot? An amazing run!

Strick's played his Titleist 755's in South Bend.

    Great Victory for him!!!

Cool that he played alongside his buddy Kelly & also had Nicki on the bag!

I think Tiger needs to move his operation to Madison and drink some of that water from Cherokee Marsh.

    Cheers,

...LOL... I'd be happy to fill a few bottles and send them to you for $$$.

Those irons are older than his youngest daughter. He likes the shaft. Guess the AP2 710's are retired in favor of....

No secret the back of his putter says Odyssey even when he was a full ambassador - but there are notable putters with a long history. Besides Strick's White Hot and TW's SC, Cory Pavin is still using a Bull's Eye.

Way to go Steve. It shows that Titleist equipment lasts and still wins.

Congrats to one of the greats out there. His was definitely a family affair. No telling what he could do on the senior tour if he would play full time. Two majors this year.

Couldn't happen to a classier guy, congrats!
  8. Congrats to Steve, one of the classiest players on any tour. He sure has been on a hot streak as of late. It sure would be nice to see him wearing the Titleist logo on his stuff again. Hint,Hint Titleist. LOL.

  9. Great to see the 755’s in the bag. A great set of irons. But Steve’s putter is not a Scotty. He has used an Odyssey White Hot #2 for years.

Imagine how special it would be to win with your wife as your caddy!!! What a trusting relationship they must have...
It may not work for every couple but the Stricker Team shows us it can be done and done well.

True, they do. But she was on the Wisconsin woman’s golf team when they met, and she has had her own successful amateur career. Steve carried her bag when she won the Madison City Championship. She was his caddie when he first came on tour before they had children.
