Id love to hear some stories on how some players became your favorite...

I caddy at the Dell Technologies Championship in Norton for the Pro-Am and one year I was put in Rickie Fowler's group. It was his first year at TPC Boston and I could tell he was really focused on studying the course and the land, but he was still genuine enough to give me pointers and talk to a young 17 year old me. Absolutely great guy and hoping he gets that first major to take off a great career!

I have worked a lot of tour events that have been in the Charleston are and watched a lot of players inside the ropes from the Nationwide, LPGA, PGA, Sr PGA and it is really hard to pick a favorite, because they all have been rather nice individuals. If I had to choose, I might select choose Annika Sorenstam. One of the greatest ball strikers of all time and one heck of a nice person. Was fortunate to have the opportunity to work up close with her and her caddie (Terry) when the Ginn Tribute Hosted by Annika was in Charleston. My buddy and I and one armed police officer, worked as her security detail for two years. Have a signed picture with a thank you note to me in my man cave along with a signed Cally 59 ball. One of the most pleasant people I have been associated with. She sure could hit a golf ball. Met her future husband Mike and the rest of her staff. She did have a stalker, which we knew, and we always knew where he was on the course. Great memory, among many...... =)

Great story about rickie, i really like what he is all about! For me, i was lucky enough to get bopped with a ball from Tiger Woods in 2010 at the Bridgestone. He was nice to me and gave me a glove an the ball after he finished!

  4. Awesome stories!
I have to say that I love the attitude of both Rickie Fowler and Justin Thomas. I enjoy their different styles, yet very fun to watch and follow. Of course, though, I am still a Tiger-era fan.. so I'm still always Tiger tracking!

    thats great!

Another year at the Deutsche Bank i was on the range with the "amateur" i was assigned to, and Anthony Kim was walking around the lower range, probably to meet his group. He walked up to me with a football and told me to go across the range so we could play catch for a few minutes..it was awesome.

A couple days later during the tournament i was watching outside the ropes and he recognized me while he was walking to the putting green and gave me a fist bump and asked how i was. I had no idea he would remember me from a few days before but he did!

I really enjoy watching Tiger, JT, and Koepka play golf. In majors they are my 1b, 2, and 3rd options to pull for.

My list of 1a's is rather large:

    Fowler
    Tway
    Noren
    CHIII
    Mahan
    Morgan Hoffman
    Uihlein
    Gooch

Soon to add Viktor Hovland and Matt Wolff
