Hole in one

I just recently learned about the hole in one bag tag. I have a special hole in one. An albatros hole in one on a par 4. The course was heritage links in ocean view New Jersey. Although it happened in 2020, I was using all titleist equipment to when it happened. My driver, was the 910d3 at the time (which is now on the wall) the ball was a dt would 90. Attached below is a photo of the score card attested by my playing partners. I’m still a titleist loyalist currently bag the mb620s, TSR4, vokey, Scotty Cameron. P.S. the hole in one drive was 312yards, slightly uphill green just out of sight. I hit the drive and the group in front of me drove their cart to me and said they watched my ball hit the front of the green and roll perfectly with the break into the hole. Witnessed by 5 people including me and attested on the score card by my playing partners.

Hole in 1 at Royal Hylands Golf Club. I am 14 years old and made my first hole in one. It bounced and rolled straight at the pin and then disappeared.

My name is Seon-A Choi, and I am the president of the Bethpage Women’s Golf Association, a social golf club of about 70 women residing in New York. Our league plays every Tuesday.

On Tuesday, August 22, at the Harbor Links Championship Course, Hole #8 (125 yards), I achieved a hole-in-one using a 7-iron and a Titleist Pro V1 ball, number 3.

In our league, we have a tradition of collecting golf balls each time a member scores a birdie throughout the year, and then distributing them to members at our closing event. This hole-in-one, therefore, holds an even more special meaning for me.

I learned that Titleist offers a commemorative gift for such occasions, and I would be honored to receive it.

I Just got my 3rd hole in one yesterday on June 15th at River Ridge Golf Course here in Raleigh N.C. 'Yardage was 148 yards ,slight wind in the face and flighted a perfect 7 iron . The ball took 2 hops and was in the hole. Absolutely the BEST golf ball that I always play !

First Hole in One at Pinehurst

I spent an incredible weekend at Pinehurst celebrating my dad’s 60th with my two brothers. We kicked it off on No. 2, an iconic course with rich history and a true test of classic golf. Then played No. 10 the next day, a great example of a modern challenge. We wrapped up on No. 4, a beautiful and fair layout that made for a fun final round.

On the 6th hole of Pinehurst No. 4, a scenic par 3 playing 183. I hit an 8-iron that felt perfect off the club. It landed about 15 feet short, started tracking, and we all watched it drop. An unreal moment, celebrating with my dad and brothers, then walking up to confirm my first hole-in-one.

One of those memories we’ll hold onto forever. An amazing finish to an unforgettable trip.

Totally Unsuspecting

I am not a good golfer and have been struggling lately hitting the ball straight. On this day I was playing OK but was +9 coming to the 8th tee box at Green Meadow Country Club. I was the first to hit from the white tees. My GPS said the cup was roughly 113 yards to the flag. The hole was cut on a right-to-left hill. Green feeds to the water on the left side. I swung an A wedge and knew immediately that it was online. The ball went unusually high and landed about 2 feet to the right of the flag. The ball slowly rolled from right to left and dropped into the hole perfectly. I freaked out. Yelled like a fool. Slapped high fives, etc. What a feeling. I was playing with Dan Holloway, Steve Crandall, and Steve Perry. Mike Brown (GMCC Neighbor) was on his patio and saw the whole thing. He congratulated me.

'It's deja vu all over again'

On June 1st, I met up with an old roommate and lifelong golf buddy back in the area where we first met over 30 years prior, for the last round of golf he’d be playing for the next five or so years due to an unfortunate set of circumstances (long story).. I have played more tournament rounds with this individual than with anyone else, while roommates in Jackson Mississippi in the early 90’s, and later after we both moved out of the area to chase our respective careers.

When leaving the house in Madison Mississippi where we were staying the next morning, on our way to a meeting where he’d be finalizing his affairs, followed by lunch, and then on to a 2:40 PM tee time, the first intersection we came to, directly in front of us, at eye level, was the entrance to where I had had my only other ace (also with him) almost 28 years ago. It was so glaring that I laughed to myself then said out loud “Can you believe that’s where I had my last and only hole in one? Then since I knew it’d be the last round of golf he’d be playing for a while I added “Boy, It’d be nice to get my second one today.”

After our meeting and lunch, we arrived at The Refuge and met two close friends who were to join us. After shooting +3 on the front, in what was turning into a steamy Mississippi afternoon I quickly doubled #10 and followed it up with bogey on #11 then rattled off three consecutive loose swing pars. When we got to the 124yd 15th, our friend who had the honors was unsure about what to hit as the wind had picked up due to a nearby pop-up storm which thankfully had cooled things down a little. In trying to keep up the pace of play, I asked if I could “show him the way”, then proceeded to fade a PW to the 124yd hole which landed 5ft left, took one hop, and spun right into the hole. The celebration ensued, and my golf buddy and I told the story about us driving out of the neighborhood earlier in the day (adding that I hit the same club, with the same fade, to almost the exact same yardage 28 years prior). Everyone was so happy. I couldn’t believe it. I then proceeded to go double, triple, par to finish the round for an 81, but such is golf.. and life…

I had my first hole in one today on the 8th hole of my local course. A crisp wedge that skipped once before falling into the hole! I have come close on so many occasions... Cannot believe I finally had one!

After 55 years, I finally accomplished a lifelong dream of getting a hole-in-one. It happened on my home course at Hermitage Golf Course outside Nashville on the Generals Retreat 13th hole. The hole was 160 yards from the White tees and I hit an easy 5-iron that landed on the green and rolled straight up and into the hole. It was quite the experience and I’m thankful it finally actually happened.

First Hole in One/ Albatross

After throwing up about 40 rounds a season for the past 5-10 years, and as a 2.1 Handicap I finally got my first hole in one! The crazy part is that it came on a par 4 so I knocked off the HIO and an Albatross in one drive. It was on Sunday, June 14, 2026 (Flag Day - ironic) at Elk Ridge Golf Course in Carson, WA, and it was on hole 14. An uphill par 4 playing 303 yards from the blue tees, after hitting a great drive right up the middle and seeing a huge bounce off the crest of the hill, I was unable to find it in the fairway or on the green. My long time golf buddy Dixon Hinderaker says "Check the hole", and of course being doubtful, I walked up and BANG. In the frontside of the cup. A Ttitleist 1, Pro V1x performance alignment red to match the Sun Day Red Polo I was rocking along with my favorite Bandon Dunes bucket hat, what a special moment for my first hole in one.
