Address/Technique for Finesse Wedges

    Hey Everyone,

    This is a demonstration of our "baseline" address position that encourages proper technique for basic wedge play inside of 30 yards. So many times, we feel that players do not have a chance to execute a good shot because they are missing fundamentals of set up. Our hope is to get everyone "long in the body" at address so the club can move "shallow at the bottom" with torso/pelvic rotation. This style of address and technique is used by many greats (Kite, Stricker, Day, and others) because it promotes and simple motion with more body rotation than arms and hands. Once a player can become proficient with a square face shots, try opening the club face for a higher launch. Remember: Tall body with long arms, connect and bend. From there, rotate!

    Really like the basic concept of setup. Especially, the no wrist hinge. I think this is much easier on the short pitch.
