  1. Do you game a new glove? Or do you wear it in first?

I prefer a broken in glove to a new stiff feeling one.

    What are your thoughts?

Almost never wear a glove. Been doing that for about 20 years. I will wear one if playing in wet or cold conditions. Nice not to explain the one brown and one white hand at work all the time. Guess it started by watching Freddy Couples play without a glove. My favorite oxymoron in golf is "Lucas Glover doesn't wear a glove".
  3. I find the best way to break in a new glove is take it out of the sleeve, put it on, and head for the first tee.

I've been wearing a rain glove lately, especially when its this time in the summer where its too hot to not sweat. But I would use a glove right out of the packaging if i had to, no preference for me.

I love a brand new glove. No break in necessary, aside from dalehead said above. Head for the first tee and enjoy.

Love the feel of a new glove! Love it. Where I live, I was going through a glove a week, sometimes less in the summer. I have to change them out 3 or 4 times around. I read on a post here that you can wash your gloves. I started doing that. It's saved me hundreds in new gloves. All you have to do is put them back on when they're wet and they'll dry out without Iosing too much of the original feel. They last twice as long this way. I usually buy them by the dozen or two. A new glove is like the feeling of a new ball. Amazing. One of the great little joys.

I have worn the Titleist Player Glove forever and it requires no breaking in.

Out of the package, on the hand and hit away. Nothing like a new soft properly fit glove. No break in necessary.
If your new glove is stiff you need to go to a softer glove. Titleist and FootJoy make some awesome gloves.

This time of the year in the deep south, wearing the FJ rain glove, due to high humidity and temperatures.

When I need a new one I don't break it in first. Never had one that felt stiff or uncomfortable to me right out of the package.

No real preference but putting one on right out of the package doesn’t bother me. I guess in a way I do like a fresh, new glove.
  13. Well I will try a fresh glove of the tee next time I tee off cheers guys

While I don't wear a glove I always have one in the bag in case an errant drive hits a house. Then I can give them a signed glove as a consolation.

Nothing like a new glove and a new Pro V on the 1st tee. Neither one needs breaking in.

Alex, not sure what brand of glove you are using but a Titleist Players glove is as soft as can be right out of the package.

    1. Open sleeve.
    2. Place glove on proper hand.
    3. Swing away.
    4. Repeat 2 and 3 as necessary.
