Carry bag straps

  1. I have the premium carry bag from Titleist love the bag but been having a nightmare with the bag straps popping out on me.

I get the reason for it being able to pull the strap out and just using a single strap to carry but it just pops out way to easily.

I decided to overlap the straps the other way to stop this happening.

    Anyone else had this happen?

Good on you for posting the example. I have answered several older posts trying to explain this very same solution. Another approach is to flip the whole plastic piece upside down. Doesn't look as pretty but will also help.
  3. I have same problem, but now I cannot get it set up right! And chance you could post a pic of the whole setup, or several, I’m so frustrated with trying to get it right, the salesman in the store have no idea how and I think mine was setup wrong from the start.

I do as well. My strap came undone while playing and I had a hard time fixing it. All I could find was promotional photos of the Titleist Players 4 bag and I eventually figured it out from that. Yesterday, it came apart again so I am faced with trying to figure it out again. I wish Titleist would just post a photo with explanation in their "tech" section. It's frustrating.
  5. I'm am sad to see I'm not the only one with this problem. I just got my premium stand bag in the mail yesterday and instally new something was wrong with the straps. I tried and tried to adjust to fit comfortably but finally gave up. The system in these bags is very uncomfortable. Sadly I will return my bag for the mid size staff version.

First I have heard of a comfort issue. Most all concerns have been related to the use of the cross-tie and how to string the straps properly so they do not pop out while walking. Its a strap system they will be discontinuing on future bags.

Guys, Alex's picture above shows not the factory method where you can "quick disconnect" but the overlap method where the solid plastic bands hold the top strap against the one that tries to come out of the slotted plastic bands. Do it that way if you rarely convert to single strap carry.
  8. I just saw the new (2021) Titlist Hybrid 14 today and it no longer has the convertible strap, but a traditional cross pad. did they kill the convertible for all 2021 stand bags? Is there any way to attach a single strap to the stand bags now or do you buy a single strap separate?

Pretty sure it will be changed on all 2021 bags. Not sure if they will offer a single strap or not. I remember when I got a 4UP StaDry a few years ago it came with both a double and single strap but that was before the quick-release buckle system. I'm sure they are anticipating a small percentage of users that will want a single strap so we will have to see how they plan to address it.

It looks like all bags will have the new style cross pad strap. I’m not seeing anything in the carry bag line with a single strap offered in the 2021 catalog.
