I was able to listen in on the TSi Zoom seminar last night ... it was excellent!!! Thanks to Allan B. of the TT Staff for putting it together and inviting us to participate. I especially enjoyed the discussion of what the panelists were currently gaming. I have the exact same setup as Stephanie Luttrell - TSi2 Driver, TSi2 16.5-degree, and TSi2 21-degree. She noted that she was using the Fujikura Air Speeder in each. Before my round today, I decided that I’d replace the Kuro Kage stock shafts with my Air Speeders from the TS1 line. BINGO! A noticeable increase in distance AND accuracy. Now, if Stephanie could just fix my so-so iron game and shaky short game!! Thanks again TT!!

It intrigued me as well. Stephanie and I are about the same speed. I have the TS-1 but have added some lead tape to get some feel of the head. Maybe a TSi-2?

Besides the Fujikara Airspeeder, there is the MCA Fubuki from the TS-1 and now there is an Aldila Ascent for the TSi-1. All three are in the high launch/high spin box. Is there anything to distinguish them beside color?

Great questions. I am by no means the expert and I’d like to test some more shafts in my TSi2 10-degree head. Stephanie’s remark about keeping players in as heavy a head as possible made sense to me. I had the AirSpeeders from my TS1/TS2 setup, so the switch was easy. The difference and improvement was marked and immediate. I was going to get fit for a TSi1 today, but I feel like I can hold off on that. My next fitting will be for the TSi hybrids.
