    T-MB 4 iron or T200 5 iron

  2. I had both and still have t200 so i would say t200 because its easyer than T-MB

I had the cally Apex irons and maybe they were too much for me so I bought the cally Rogue irons and I’m getting at least 10 more yards per club. I’m hitting my seven 185 for example and can get more if I step on it. I’m hitting my 9 150. With an easy swing! Plus I’m hitting em straight and have no problem working them both ways. I was surprised because the Apex were so hyped and you hear nothing about the rogues.

  4. Can't speak to the T200 but comparing 4-irons between the T-MB and my 718 AP2 there's no contest. In terms of forgiveness, ease of hitting it straight and all around high handicapper friendliness the AP2 is the winner. I'd think the new T200 would be the same or even better than my old AP2. Not a fan of the T-MB.

Back to the original question... I would say, whichever one works best for you. Club set up is such an individual thing. That's one of the things I really like about golf. If we all had to play matching sets, it would definitely be an impact to the enjoyment of the game by many players. I also am a proponent of situational bag set ups. I have several different clubs that I will change up based on where I am playing that day. This includes wedges with more or less bounce and loft or several different hybrids that may replace long irons when playing soft conditions or elevated greens. No matter which one you choose, have fun out there.

Sort of a moot question as the T-MB is NLA from Titleist. The U-510 is fairly easy to hit, so IF you can't get the T-200 5 iron to launch, then the U-510 22 (bend to 23/34 degrees?) or the T-300 5 iron are options. Or a hybrid. The preferred option will be as plentiful as responses.

I'm going rogue on my Premier fitter and have ordered a 5I T-300 to add to my 6-W AP3 set. I've used 27/23 hybrids but the 6I has been more consistent than the 27. I had rented a set of AP-1's at Hanbury. The set only had a 19H so I had to use the 5I. Worked well. If that works out, then will look at U-510/H2/F/TS2 for my next 2 clubs on the way to driver. I had a chance to hit the 16 degree 510 and it went far better than I expected. That one won't find my bag, but the 20/22 may.

My reasoning is because since my 714 AP1 4 iron I've been using a hybrid equivalent because I began to struggle getting it the 4 iton airborne. I've gone from the 714 AP1 to 716 AP2 5 to pw and now a set of T200. The T200 are 6 tp pw because of the 4 degree stronger lofts, 6 iron being equivalent to a 5 iron. I thought about getting a 5 iron but was worried that I would struggle with it as I did my 4 iron, but I'm beginning to think that because of the design and makeup then it should be easier to hit.
